Going Somewhere Publications

 

Founded in 2024 by Ant Irvine and Alan Hendrick, Going Somewhere Publications is a book publishing company based in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. Our mission is to champion local Irish voices and promote diverse storytelling. We accept a wide range of manuscripts, but authors must be from the island of Ireland. We also offer alongside our publishing services comprehensive manuscript editing, book design, and distribution assistance services to support both traditional and self-publishing authors.

 

At Going Somewhere Publications, we believe in the power of storytelling and are passionate about helping authors bring their work to life. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality services, including grammar checks, structural enhancements, eye-catching cover designs, and wide-reaching distribution. We also offer guidance on platforms and bookstores to ensure that your work reaches its intended audience.

Ant Irvine

As a seasoned writer with over two decades of storytelling mastery under his belt. Ant loves to find stories where he can make an emotional connection to the characters, scenes and overall themes.


Ant is drawn to authors who tell stories with passion and intensity. He loves books that are filled with excitement, whether they're packed with action, set in fantastical worlds, or explore dystopian futures. For Ant, reading is all about feeling thrilled and discovering new adventures.

 

Some of his favourite authors are C.S Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Markus Heitz, Sir Terry Pratchett, Karen Miller, Gail Z. Martin, Robert McLiam-Wilson, Philip K. Dick, and Paul Howard.

Alan Hendrick

Meet Alan Hendrick, a passionate author with three published books already out and a fourth in the works. He loves stories that make him feel something deep inside, ones that ignite his imagination and leave him buzzing with excitement.

 

Alan's not just about his own writing—he's also passionate about discovering and nurturing local talent. He believes in helping fellow writers develop their skills and share their stories with the world.

 

With his dedication to crafting captivating narratives and supporting emerging voices, Alan Hendrick is making his mark on the literary world one story at a time.
